For Patients

We understand how difficult it can be to manage your health – especially when you’re not feeling well. That’s why we’re here to support you every step of the way.

To help you continue your journey, we put together a list of common questions about medical diagnostics and imaging tests. Read on to learn more and take the next step in your healthcare journey.

Diagnostic imaging tests take detailed pictures and information about the inside of your body. These tests help you learn more about your body’s functions. Then, you and your doctor can manage your health by:

  • Diagnosing your medical condition or health concern.
  • Providing a treatment plan that works for you.
  • Monitoring your progress before, during, or after treatment.
  • Assessing your risk level for certain medical conditions.
  • Recommending preventative measures or lifestyle changes.

Whether you need an MRI or a CT scan, we can provide the medical diagnostics and imaging tests you need to take the next step in your healthcare journey.

No matter your age or medical history, we provide quality care that meets your needs. So if you’re a patient who’s looking for…

  • Accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Detailed scans for various medical conditions
  • Expert assessments after an accident or work injury
  • Routine screenings for proactive healthcare

…we can help! With detailed images and information from medical diagnostics tests, you can take the next step in your healthcare journey – and start feeling better.

We offer a wide range of services that can help you get the answers you need, such as:

These tests provide detailed images and information about what’s happening in your body. Based on the test results, your doctor can provide a treatment plan that works for you.

We have a variety of MRI machines to suit different patient needs so you feel comfortable during your medical diagnostics test. Some of the unique MRI machines we use are:

  • Open MRI – This machine is ideal if you feel claustrophobic or uncomfortable in a traditional machine. It provides a more open experience because the machine is only enclosed on two sides. Because it’s more spacious, this MRI machine can also accommodate larger body types.
  • Upright MRI – This machine can be configured in multiple positions so you feel comfortable during your MRI imaging scan. You can sit or stand because the machine is only enclosed on three sides. This is especially useful if you have difficulty or discomfort lying down.
  • Highfield MRI – This machine has a stronger magnetic field than a traditional MRI machine. So it’s perfect for detailed scans that require a higher resolution and more precision. It also produces faster scans than a traditional machine because of the stronger magnetic field.
  • 3.0T Wide Bore MRI – This machine has the strongest magnetic field of all MRI imaging machines. It creates extremely clear and detailed images which leads to more accurate diagnoses. This machine also produces faster scans than a traditional machine because of its stronger magnetic field.

Each of these MRI machines offers specific benefits to help you feel more comfortable during the scan.

The cost of your medical diagnostics test will depend on the type of service you receive. While we can’t provide exact amounts, we have a tool you can use to estimate the cost of your appointment.

This will give you an idea of what your test will cost based on your insurance status. You can access our cost estimator tool by clicking the link below:

For Physicians

At Memorial MRI & Diagnostic Imaging Centers, we understand how important it is to collaborate with physicians. That’s why we’re committed to working with you to make sure your patients get quality care and the treatment they need. To learn more about how we can work together, we’ve answered some common questions about partnering with us.

We’re one of the few imaging centers in Southeast Texas not affiliated with a hospital system. So we provide a few unique benefits you won’t find at other imaging centers, such as:

  • Lower Rates – Our pricing is much lower than hospital-affiliated imaging centers in the same area. Because we’re a smaller operation, we don’t have the higher costs associated with a large hospital system – and we’re able to pass these savings on to your patient.
  • Open Access to Everyone – We are open to everyone, regardless of their insurance status. This means we accept healthcare plans for most major insurance companies and take uninsured patients. We even offer discounted rates if your patient has an out-of-network plan, no insurance, or prefers to pay in cash.
  • Extended Hours – Most hospital-affiliated imaging centers have standard 9-5, Monday through Friday hours. But we understand that this limited availability might not work with your patients’ schedules. Many of our imaging centers have extended hours until 10 PM and evening appointments during the week. We also offer weekend appointments on Saturdays at specific locations if this is more convenient for your patient.
  • Same-Day Appointments – We understand you and your patient don’t want to wait days or weeks to get answers to their health questions. So we offer same-day appointments or appointments within 24 hours of your patient calling us.
  • Sedation Options – Our goal is for your patient to feel as comfortable as possible during their medical diagnostic test. If your patient gets claustrophobic or feels anxious about lying in an MRI machine for an hour, we can help them relax. We’ll also provide blankets, music, or other distractions to keep them comfortable.
  • Versatile MRI Machines – We have a variety of MRI machines at our imaging centers, such as an Open MRI, Upright MRI, and 3T Wide Bore MRI. These machines can accommodate all body types, scan positions, and disabilities. So if your patient is claustrophobic, needs extra space, or can’t lie down for long periods, we can still help.

These benefits are why we stand out in the market – and why so many physicians trust us to provide quality and patient-focused care.
